Mission Statement:

The mission of the Brown Soil & Water Conservation District is to provide the leadership in promoting and protecting the integrity of Brown County's soil, water and other natural resources through technical assistance and education.

White Oak Creek Watershed Action Plan

The White Oak Creek Watershed Advisory Board has worked from 2002 to 2004 on a comprehensive Watershed Action Plan and Inventory for the White Oak Creek Watershed.  After several revisions the Action Plan received the State of Ohio Endorsement on April 16th, 2004.  "The Ohio EPA and ODNR Division of Soil & Water Conservation are confident that successful implementation of this plan will result in valued water quality benefits for the White Oak Creek Watershed and Ohio." 

The White Oak Creek Watershed Partners are very proud of the Watershed Action Plan and the benefits to Brown & Highland County residents.  Through proper implementation the ultimate benefits will the reduction of water pollution and healthier, cleaner water for future generations.
