Mission Statement:

The mission of the Brown Soil & Water Conservation District is to provide the leadership in promoting and protecting the integrity of Brown County's soil, water and other natural resources through technical assistance and education.

White Oak Creek Conservation Easement

The Brown SWCD & White Oak Creek Watershed Group have been the lucky recipients of a permanent conservation easement on ~94 acres donated by Rumpke Inc.

The permanent conservation easement sets aside nearly 94 acres of land along the east bank of White Oak Creek. The easement allows Brown SWCD & White Oak Creek Watershed Partners to protect, preserve, enhance and restore the established forested corridor and natural habitat of fish, wildlife, plants and other important ecosystems.
