2007 Earth Day Contest Winners

“Save the Earth, save a tree, but most importantly save you and me” was the winning quote on the 2007   Earth Day 1st place poster contest winner created by Hannah Keller.  The White Oak Creek Watershed Partners and the Brown Soil & Water Conservation District sponsored the 2007 Earth Day coloring and poster contest for Mt. Orab Elementary 2nd and 4th graders.  Second grade students participate in a coloring contest and the forth grade students participate in a poster contest by creating scenes on paper bags donated by the Kroger Store in Mt. Orab.  All winners were then displayed at the store and all colored bags are then used for shoppers choosing to use paper instead of plastic.
