TECHNICAL PROGRAMS AND ASSISTANCE

We are pleased to be a part of a first for Brown County.  May, 2007 saw the launch of the Geographical Information System (GIS) for the county to the World Wide Web.  This website is a very useful tool for the residents, county officials, real estate agents, consultants, engineering firms and surveyors.  The website contains links to soils information, tax map, parcel information, county and township road information plus much more!  Visit this site at www.browncountygis.com.

Digital soil maps for Brown County are now available in electronic version (CD).  You may stop by the SWCD office to pick up a copy.  Cost: $10
