WILDLIFE

In 2002, Brown SWCD obtained a grant through the Ohio Division of Wildlife in order to hire a part-time Wildlife Specialist.  The purpose of this position is to keep a record of wildlife conflicts and to offer options to landowners about controlling the problem.  Since the creation of this position, a wide variety of complaints have been received: everything from snakes to white tail deer to Canada geese.
